June...let me think. Seriously, I gotta think family, camp, summer, moments, memories...life. Summer was truly great. We try and keep things "normal" for our family to the best of our ability. You two's lives don't change except for location really...oh, and you have a pool, lake, slipnslide, etc in your "backyard." Not majors right? I know there are moments in my head and heart that I get nervous raising you at K2 (just the camp life) but I know the pros do outweigh them by miles and miles. I hope I can always keep that perspective knowing what a blessing it will be for you and more little Robbins' to grow up in a place like this. Thank you Lord for your story...
Belle:
You are 7 months old. Please slow down time! You are truly the sweetest thing...fussy if you are hungry but sweet sweet sweet! You still haven't put on any weight...I know now (it's August as I'm typing this) that the reason you were fussy during feeding times is because you weren't getting enough. When we would give you solids you were like crazy girl as you ate. You couldn't get enough. I thought it was due to just loving my baby food making skills. Sadly, I was so wrong. I didn't really discover you weren't putting on any weight until August so I'll stop there. You are doing great at sitting up and you do a great tummy ab pose while you kick and kick and kick some more.. Your face gets really red outside to where everyone thinks I'm a bad mom that you are getting sunburned. I mean you get really red faced. You love riding the golf cart but only if you are facing outwards so you can see the ride. You love bath time but that doesn't mean you love swimming. You seem to like to sit in our laps more than "play" when we go to our little baby pool (a.k.a. the bottom of the slipnslide at camp). You love how dark your room is (I put foil on the window) and so naps are great. I'm a bit worried for returning home; but can't worry too much about it now. You are repeating your big sister by waking at 6:00 am. You cry but once you realize no one is coming you just lay there sweetly and well, just lay there. You are so expressive but for the most part are pretty laid back. You are starting to want to be held a lot...and by a lot I think you just wanted to be held as we are usually chasing, wrestling, jumping with Lulu. You just wanted in on the action. So you are now. You are getting to the point where you can "play" a bit more. You are just our little bizzle Belle. (Lulu sometimes says "biz" to you...I'm a bit nervous she might think that is your name).
Lulu:
You are 19 months old. Again, where is the human pause button? You are trying to "jump" which consists of throwing up your arms like momma and bending your knees but not really coming off the floor at all. It's awesome. I don't think we have any new words this month...but I could definitely be forgetting. You are sort of trying to test boundaries...you know what "timeout" is and don't like it. Once you hear the word you are immediately crying on our shoulders. We put you in a spot in your room and leave you in your room. You scream...we wait...then we come in and get on your level and teach you "sorry" and then we hug you and tell you how much we love you. Always. Lord let us be consistent and grant us wisdom as we raise these little robbins (did you get the pun there?). You LOVE Belle. You bring her toys and have even started to try and pick her up. It's might look like you are strangling her but it's your version of picking her up. You drink out of your new mini camelback (Thanks Hayden!) and you have to be the most hydrated 19 month old at camp. You are stretching with Triathlete and it is awesome. You bend over and spread your cute legs and it is just adorable!! Seriously adorable!! You are such a light to our little home.

Lulu's head is healing...don't you love Lulu's hair combing. Sometimes Shay doens't know where her part is and so he just combs it and sometimes she looks like a little boy with bad hair part. |
 |
Lulu is holding a goldfish with her toe...her sister is thinking "huh, that's cool." |
 |
you are quite the spitter...still. |

Aunt Shanny came to visit...it's always crazy party time when she comes to town! |

This was your babysitter this summer for 4 weeks. Hayden Stark... you two loved her! We liked her tons too! |
 |
Persimmon Hill Blueberry Farm. We went and picked blackberries. You ate more than you picked....shhh! |
 |
Aly Wagner came and stayed with us for a week. It was so fun! Her and Kirby (her little sister) are already on my radar. I think Aly might end up at K7 but I'm already contracting Kirby. She's down for that! |
