Gulf Shores 2013...

What a wonderful, blessed time we had with my folks in Gulf Shores! We had beautiful weather every day but one and it was still "play in the sand" weather. We played at the beach everyday and snuggled with Nana and Poppy while the watched Sofia or a new Strawberry Shortcake. We ate awesome food and of course went to Lulu's and had a blast.

Shay and I were floored at how much they change in one year. Belle was so adventurous with the ocean. She loved being on the water and even in her clothes laid down in the shallow water. Lulu was our creative sand castle builder. She was not so high on the ocean...in fact she wanted to stay a far away as possible. She was quite the delegater of duties of building her castle. She had my mom and I building and Belle running back and forth for water in the bucket.

The grown ups played a lot of games for the week. Once the littles were down we played Settlers of Catan. It is a really fun game and it got rather competitive...probably just between Shay and I. It was great memories!

* Nightly games of Settlers
* Belle falling 2 times in the same spot and bruising her teeth.
* Poppy feeding Lulu with every form of transportation sound.
* Nana's big boo-boo on her knee. She did 2 hours of her machine every day!
* Shay and I did a 7 mile run one morning.
* Knox took naps in the bath tub (in his basket)
* Me being so mad at Shay winning Settlers!
* Magnum ice cream bars
* Lulu had a "Pauline" moment with dad like Gulf Shores 2012. Woah Woah Woah!
* Nana brought home 4 pounds of shells as Lulu and Belle were always getting Nana some more treasures.
* The girls feeding the sea gulls. Hysterical! They just wanted to touch them so bad. No fear at all.
* Shay and Dad jumping into the ocean!
* The zoo. Girls were scared at first but warmed up quickly.
