Sick Days...

Hey Friends and Family,
I feel like our family blog has become a once a month deal. Sorry about that...not that we have millions reading this and just dying without us.

We have had a very germ-y, sick household for about 2 weeks. Lulu got a virus that made her have cold sores and we had to separate the 2 girls so Belle wouldn't catch it. During this time, which I had a throat infection, I learned 2 things.
1. God is so in control. Don't need to extend much on this except to say each night at 7 pm I was in tears and praying that sweet Lulu would get better and sweet Belle wouldn't catch any of the germs. There is no other reason except the Lord that our home made it through all those crazy germs...and the Lord allowing Germ-X to be invented...oh, and Lysol!
2. I love our Pediatrician! She personally called me twice to remind me of somethings and then to check in on us. She was even concerned about me and giving me advice! I just adore her and I pray we are under her care for a long time! Thanks CD for the recommendation on her!

Precious Lulu, you were quite the testament of joy during trials (sickness = trials). You were amazing. You were a bit more cuddly and wanted to be with mom or dad but other than that you didn't fuss at us and you took your medicine perfectly. Poor thing you were just so precious. We hated seeing you sick. It was the worst. My mom used to say when I was sick (and actually still does), "I wish I could take it from you." And now I completely understand. Shay and I said this to Lulu over and over. Grammy came over to watch Belle so we could keep her healthy and Nana came for the weekend to make sure we were all okay. You have the best grandma's in the whole wide world!

Sweet Belle, you stayed healthy! Yeah!!! Thank you Jesus! You have truly become the BEST baby in the world. You eat, hang out, and then sleep. You nap great, hang out, laugh with Lulu, and continue to impress us. We are so thankful you are growing and healthy! After having us sick we realize our health is something we don't need to take for granted. You, sweet Belle, were knit for our family! We just love you so very much!
