Lulu's 1...

Our precious firstborn, you are 1 years old! Your party was a hit! We technically celebrated a bit early (1 week) thinking we didn't want to chance it with your sister coming on the 22nd (well, supposedly coming on the 22nd). We invited family and had lots of yummy chili and cupcakes (not at the same time, of course!). Brittany (your kid sitter from Term 2) was mom's helper and great friend! She made the awesome sign and helped with all the decor for the party! It was so cute! I made all the cupcakes and your smash cake. You were surrounded with all the people that love you oodles!

Memories from the day:
* YOU
* Your tutu was made with love by your mom! It was all things girly! You also had a handmade "1" shirt. You just were the most adorable thing!
* You LOVED the cake! Well, specifically the frosting! Mom and Dad were sure you were going to be sick! But you napped well that afternoon and no stomach issues to blog about.
* You handled all the faces and people great. You are not a "big crowd" girl. But you did great and didn't get startled by the singing and clapping.
* You played with all your new toys and loved on your family! We love our families and they love you so very much little one!
* You are no longer on any formula. You drink whole milk and you LOVE it. Easy transition!
* You are pulling up and standing really well. Walking is soon to come I'm sure but I'm glad you still stand and look to mom and dad to walk.
* You love us! Which I'm so very glad but separation anxiety is a bit heightened right now. We just are praying you always always know how secure you can feel knowing that your mom and dad love you so very much.

We love you our firstborn precious girl! You are so very special to us and so glad that you, sweet Lulu, are our precious gift from the Lord! Each day we pray you know of His love and our love for you!

Pausing a 1 year old,
