Shay killed it! This picture is not for the faint of heart! Shay got a gun, got dressed in layers, and headed out for 3 mornings to get some meat for his family. Ha! He was so excited that he shot this 9 point buck. He has killed little baby deers before but this was his first buck. It is being processed now and I'm going to have to call my Aunt Krista for all her deer meat recipes! I'm excited b/c we love deer meat! Yummy! I was pretty weak seeing the deer like this but I don't mind eating it. I am so very proud of the hubby! Thanks to all the friends that helped...goodie, cale, duncan family, adam, coopie, etc. We should be getting the meat soon! got deer?
