10 Months...

Goodness, I have really been a blogging slacker. I'm so sorry! I think with our camera being broken it has made me stop blogging due to not having great pictures. BUT alas we have a fixed camera and I have been taking pictures like crazy! So here is our update...

Our sweet firstborn...you are 10 months (actually now almost 11 months but for blogging sake I need to do 10 months first). You are growing and changing every day and it is flying by. You are a squirmer and on the move now with each new day. You treat dad like a jungle gym and you laugh at everything. You finally one day just decided to start crawling after doing your body "scrawling" and you are a fast now. Good thing mom finally childproofed the home...except for some cords but my eyes are always on you. You at times are quiet and cuddly and other times are just a talkin' girl! Still no official "momma" but "da, da, da, da, da" is a go to for you. You love your schedule and it sure makes you such a blessing to everyone around you. You also can flex a bit and miss some nap time or be on the road and you are still precious! I am thankful for that especially for what our next 3 weeks hold (more on that later). You are eating like a champ but have gotten more picky. You love to feed yourself and you are like a Cheerio eating fool. Mom and dad love Cheerios as it give us time to eat meals too! You are just so dear to us! We both just stand in awe of you each and every day! This morning I couldn't believe with 1/2 of Shay and 1/2 of me that we made you (obviously the Lord knit you together but you know what I mean). You are just so loved and I pray you rest in that security every day! I don't care about when you hit milestones or know your ABC's, we just want you to know how much you are loved sweet girl!

Life outside of a 10 month old has been so great. We are packed and ready to leave this morning for 3 weeks. We are headed to Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas, Little Rock, and Memphis. We are excited and praying for joy and lots of memories for our family. I would love prayer for worry and anxiousness as a momma as I already am feeling just worried about Lulu in the car so much, not at her home, and having to flex her schedule possibly a lot. Please pray that I will know and not doubt that if Lulu is with her mommy and daddy then she is secure and healthy. We are making my parents house our home base for 1-2 days in between each work week and I'm excited to spend time with them for sure. Once we get back it will be only a few short weeks till Baby Girl #2 arrives (names are still in the hat...but we think we have a front runner). I feel like she will be here tomorrow and I just can't wait to have her here! It's going to be crazy but it will be OUR crazy and we can't wait! We have been praying every day that Lulu will adjust okay and love her little sister. I pray all the time that they will be the best of friends. This whole sister deal is new to me as I was the only girl so I'll be learning how to raise these 2 girls as sisters and best friends!

We sure miss everyone and again sorry it has been a bit. I will be printing my blog soon to a book (Bronwyn, I can't wait to see yours!) as I want to do it for each year. I still need to print the 2009 book...I'll have to see if Mr. Shay will put that in the budget for the month of November. Maybe that can be my "you had a baby" present from Mr. Daddy-o! We hope to see family soon in December when we will make the trip up North and then will have my family here in Branson hopefully for after Christmas. We can't wait!

On the Road Again,
The Robbins' Nest

Lulu with her Poppa. She is down to nursing only 1 time a day. Our doctor wanted her off nursing before little sister came as to avoid automatic jealousy. Good tip! She has not missed a beat!
I love this picture. She is so funny!
She is pulling up on everthing. The other day she actually pulled up and stood with no support for like 2-3 seconds. We had a celebration! Look at those rolley polley ankles!
She loves to chew woven baskets! Yummy!
Our sweet girl, we love this little munchkin face!
Blue eyes just sparkle! Dad better be ready some day for those blue eyes to work magic!
Again, loving her basket of toys. This last pics are with my phone...can you tell!? Yes!
Go Hogs! This is her usual Saturday outfit..however she has outgrown it! Sad day! But we cheer on the hogs each week as a family! Oh, and bows are of the past till she gets hair and I can clip them in. Within 1 second of putting a headband with bow on it, it is already pulled off.
