Life after Summer 2010...

Hi Friends and Family,
Summer 2010...we can't believe it's over! The summer out at camp just flew by. We are resting at home (which is our first year to have a true, mortgage each month HOME!) and enjoying naps, playing with Lucy Lu, and eating slowly and quietly (camp tends to be loud and a bit hectic at meal time). It's been awesome!

There are so many highlights from the summer...
* Our leadership team was INCREDIBLE!!! I have never seen a guy/girl team work together so well and genuinely LOVE each other either!
* There was a precious young man who Shay had met at a Father/Son retreat who is handicapped. He was there for Shay's K-Life talk and just loves Jesus so much. The young boy prayed and it brought all of us to tears to say the least.
* Doing triathlete together each day with Lulu.
* We saw a double rainbow one day after it rained...we could see both ends and there were 2 of them. It was awesome!
* Lulu is "moving."
* Our WONDERFUL AMAZING babysitters! We miss you Emily, Brittany, and Beth!
* Prayerfully showing staff/campers that our family is FIRST.
* Shay's talks this year were incredible. He did one titled "Relentless" and the other was on Apologetics. He is so very gifted!
* Finding out Baby #2 was a girl...oh, we are already praying Lulu and her sweet sister will be the best of friends since they will be right at 12 months apart.

There were so many more...I'm sure of it! We are so thankful to be a part of this ministry that we get to work for. We are now starting a new chapter in our family as I am now a full time mommy! Woohoo!!! I am sure it won't quite hit till Shay begins to go back to work (after staycation) but we are both just so excited! He is already in full swing of training for his 1/2 Ironman coming up in September and busy planning Father/Son retreats also in September.
Sure missing everyone and we can't wait to see family in November/December with our newest precious girl! No names yet...well, maybe, but we are keeping it under wraps till we feel 100% on it. Sorry! :)

Off to bed at 9:30 pm...Woohoo,
The Robbins' Nest

Below: The Fender girls (precious precious family!!!) were at camp and got to come see Lulu! I pray Lulu and girl #2 are a lot like these 2 girls in their friendship with one another!
Lulu squinching that little face as she kicks it in her new pink, glittery TOM shoes! Thanks Mere Bear!
Oh, sweet girl, we just LOVE you so much! Always know that! You were smiling as Dad got you ready for bed! You love bath time...

I cannot believe she is so BEAUTIFUL and precious. What a wonderful Mom you are. Lulu is adorable. Wish I could get some
play time in. I'm waiting to hear the name of the lady in waiting!
