Month 8...
* You are still figuring out your "crawling." You have all the parts but can't quite figure out how to put them all together. We aren't worried and have heard from enough moms and now know in our hearts that you will take each milestone at your pace. We know the day you figure it out, you will be a movin' girl!
* You love your schedule. I laugh looking back as I was such a worried mom at first as you were a newborn and now you have fallen into this awesome schedule that works perfectly with K2. We feel so blessed.
* Your starting to say "ba ba ba ba" and sometimes it turns to "da da da da." I think you are so close to saying "dadda." We can't wait love!
* You are sleeping in your crib like a little person. No longer just laying flat on your back but turning over and most of the time resting on your side, little thumb in mouth (you are kind of over the paci), perfect little angel on your side (like your mommy minus the thumb :)
* You laugh when we laugh...unless we startle you. Your personality at this point seems laid back. very animated with your funny faces, content with life (you do love to be held by mommy and daddy though) you tend to like smaller groups, with big groups you just want mom or dad, cuddle bug, and you love hanging with mom and dad. You are just such a sweet little baby girl!
Well, for month 8 you are just continuing to capture our hearts everyday and again we are talking each day to you about your new soon-to-be-here little sister. Oh, Lulu we pray you are just the best of friends in life. We are thinking through the room that will now be deemed the girls' room...2 cribs. I thought I would just be passing it down but here girl #2 comes in 4 months. Life will just get sweeter!
In awe of a little squinched face,
The Robbins' Nest

p.s. I blog so that we can make this into an automatic book after each year and don't have to scrapbook for hours. So...that's why it's so personal and sometimes dad/mom-sappy b/c this will be a family keepsake to show Lulu as she gets older and to look back on stories of our family. Just fyi.
