Lulu's Room...

Well, I am not interior designer but I am loving the chance to decorate and put rooms together. Lulu has been our main focus as far as getting our house somewhat settled. I still have a list of stuff for her room (shelves on wall for books, decor letters above her crib with a verse under them, rocking chair in corner, another dresser to put in her closet for clothes/books, pictures for all frames, a measuring wall art for her, etc etc etc...oh goodness, still so much to do) but the great thing is that all she needs is mom, dad, and constant loving and that we can do!

Okay, so the crib bedding and curtains...oh thank you Jesus for my new friend! There is a lady in town who has SO MUCH TALENT it is just crazy. She actually really didn't do crib bedding but when two women asked (me being one of them) within the same week she thought the Lord was telling her something. So she made Lulu's bedding out of some fabric I found and loved! It is amazing work! She really is so amazing! You can see more of her stuff at www.toocutedesignsbyj.com and contact her if you are interested! She makes diaper bags, unique boutique girl clothes, nursing covers (I love mine that I have from her!), and so much more!

Thanks Jeannette! You are the best and can't wait to do more crafty projects with you!

Okay, ignore the pink crib sheet that doesn't quite match. It's just an extra because I haven't had time to get the perfect matching color but I had to have something on the crib for pictures. So the light pink is two different prints...the polka dots are on the ends and the paisley is the middle parts. The creme in the middle is the really soft, dimple fabric. (*Disclaimer: Lulu is not sleeping in her crib yet so please know that I know that there should be no pillow or crib bumper when she is)

Jeannette made these curtains to match. Love them!

This is one angle of the room. Some type of wall art/picture frames will someday be up on the walls.

Other angle of the room. Still need floor lamp and shelves for this side...again, it's a work in progress!
