The Robbins' Nest: Aunt Pat...

Hey friends and family,

We got a special package in the mail this past week. I have an amazing Aunt Pat! She technically is my dad's aunt but is really his mom in all ways but biologically! She is just so amazing. She is so fun, has joy that is like a magnet, and loves Jesus and old hymns! She was married to her sweetheart for many years, Uncle Wilson, and I hope and pray Shay and I have a love like theirs was...they always loved each other well and laughed often. She made Lulu this afghan (blanket for younger generation readers). She also sent this precious letter...

"I started making this afghan for you on the day you were born. I hope when your mom covers you with it, you will feel the love that is in each stitch. I'm excited that you are here and I've seen your pictures on the internet and girl, you are beautiful! Hope one day I'll get to see you in person. Love, Aunt Pat."

Oh, Aunt Pat she loved the blanket and I truly can't wait for her to meet you...it will happen (she lives in Virginia). Lulu, you have a very special Aunt Pat who I hope you have her faith in Jesus, her zeal for life, and her amazing cooking skills!
