Baby Robbins Baby Shower...

Okay, I promise to get some pictures of Shay up on this blog. There has just been more "events" for the baby, which involves my stomach more than his. :)

My dear friends threw the BEST baby shower for our new little one a few weekends ago and it was so much fun! I walked away so humbled and so blessed! My mom got to come up for it which was a highlight for me to have her there and I loved having both "grandmas" sitting beside me! What a blessed little girl she will be to have 2 grandmas that are so amazing! My friend, Trish, hosted it at her home (which is like the best "shower/hostess" set up) and all my crafty friends chipped in (Thanks Trish, Jane, Jennifer, Rachel, and Bronwyn for hosting!). Here are some picture highlights!

Shay's mom...I can't for the life of me remember what grandkids are calling Susan. I'll have to find that out too!
These are dear friends from Lee's Summit. The Fender girls! I have known them for 7 years or so and they are just near and dear to Shay and I!
This is Brooke and Casie. Both of these girls are leadership at K2 in the summer and are in Branson this year for the Kanakuk Institute! Woohooo!

The Fender girls totally spoiled me...they got the Baby Einstein Jumper...thank goodness Baby Girl will be smart now! Thanks friends!

My friends seriously are the craftiest people ever! My friend Stephanie (click HERE for her site of crafts) made us a prayer box. The cards inside are full of verses on any topic. So precious!

My friend Rachel (I live in a land of Martha Stewarts, praying some of it rubs off on me) made this blanket that was so soft and in the corner had this patch on it for her due date to be circled when she arrives! So cute!

Well, those are just a few of my favorites. This post is already too long but I just wanted to share such a special day. One of my other crafty friends had heard me talking about "pillowcase dresses" for like the past 2 months and she watched youtube for like 2 hours to learn and made me 2 dresses that seriously melt your face off with cuteness and awesomeness! I can't wait for Jennifer to teach me! I got the idea from my Aunt Krista who is also totally crafty...wonder how I missed that gene in my family! I'll get pictures of those soon!
