Atlanta & 5 Months...

Atlanta has been home for almost a week. We came out to a dear camp family's home for Shay to be out of the office so he could study, read, research and work on talks for the summer. But before you think...all work and no play...we did a great combo of both! He would study while Lulu napped and we went on afternoon adventures together as a family! Lulu flew great and it's really like she thinks we are sittin' on the couch at home. Her ears don't seem to bother her...and if you know me I seriously prayed our little one did NOT get my ears! So far, so good. Then after the lake house we have been speaking at an FCA retreat. And by we I mostly mean Shay. I actually haven't been able to hear him as I have been at the hotel each night to get Lulu to bed at normal time. He has been speaking on Apologetics...heavy topic but Shay LOVES it and from what I heard from the girls today and the fact that the guys were all circled up just asking questions...I know he is killing it! (that's a good thing) We head back to town tomorrow and I must admit I am ready to be home. Lulu is quite ready too...she's been phenomenal but just ready to have her room, swing, etc back.

Oh and Lulu you are 5 months old...+ a little extra (I actually need to look at a calendar...my blonde moment happened the other day when I told someone she was 6 months...Shay just laughed at me). Here are your new things (some might be repeats as I can't remember what I posted in the last month check in:
* You are officially a rollin' fool! You love to roll from your back to your belly...now once you are on your belly you are not so happy for too long.
* You have a new toy attached to your car seat and you love it...new colors, textures!
* You are still drooling...a lot. I had to change the first sleeper I had you in tonight from 2 hours to a new one because it was so wet.
* You love your toes...holding them, moving them, rubbing them into the carpet, and eating them. Only as a baby is this cute!

Oh, Lulu you are changing so quickly...We pray everyday that we would soak up each day with you and each "phase." We love you our little one!

Home bound,
The Robbins' Nest

Shay and Lulu on a biking adventure...she was safe in her baby bjorn I promise.

Yep, that's her dangling like a hammock...she loved it, laughed so hard when Shay would look down and actually fell asleep while Shay biked almost 2 miles. It was hysterical!

The fam...
Mom, you are so funny...

Love this face! She scrunches her nose and it's all laugh!

Very artistic photograph I thought...

If this picture or the one at the top of this post doesn't melt your heart, well, you need to make sure your heart is beating...Lulu, I can already tell you and your dad have such an amazing relationship. You smile the biggest, laugh the hardest and seem to settle down when Daddy gets home. I love it and pray you always know of your Dad's love and security...both earthly and heavenly.
