Branson Pirates and Dad's 60th Birthday...

Okay, here is some more...

3. Branson Pirates had a great season! Whenever we could we tried to make it to their games! They are so much fun to watch and a lot of the team members were Branson Kanakuk Kiddos! We won Districts and lost to Rockhurst (Rock-something?) We went to the final district game and it was an intense game! I was a nervous wreck!
Opening of the District Title Game
I tried to get a picture of all the Branson students. They call themselves the Rowdies! They are amazing fans!

4. Del Medlin is 60 Years Old!!! Shay and I went to Cabot this past weekend and celebrated ole' Delbert's 60th Birthday! We had a blast! We all remembered old funny stories of Dad and danced the night away! Shay and I's dancing was quite the hit!
Dad and his mom (we call her Aunt Pat and by blood it's not his mom...but pretty much). She is an awesome woman of the Lord. She loves life and is such an example to me even if she is far away in Virginia. Love you Aunt Pat!
My Dad and mom. Mom planned the whole party and it was amazing! She even had it planned that a 2009 Cadillac Escalade pick my dad up...it was such a fun surprise! Dad loved every minute of it!
The Cake! It was HUGE! It had a motorcycle ridin' guy with the leather jacket that said "Forever Young." That's a song by Bob Dylan that Dad is issuing as his new anthem.
Our sweet niece...Alana Grace! Priceless!
Then the crazy boy Jonathan! He loved hanging with Uncle Michael at the party and had a ball!
The GUYS! Michael and Shay at the party! Jason (my oldest brother) was the MC of the night and did an awesome job! It made for some funny moments during the party for the 3 Medlin kids to think back to stories of our dad.
