April 2013 (and a bit more of March 2013)...

I'm catching up...or at least going to try. Each Monday all 3 littles go to FBC playdate and this mommy comes to Starbucks gets an Orange Refresher and goes to town on documenting all the precious memories of our family! I love doing it because it makes my heart stay in a place of gratefulness and contentment and remembering all the Lord has done and does on a daily basis...such precious time.

Okay, so here are my blog notes for April (or at least moments sometime around that area of time)...

* April 17:
Lulu..."We are princesses because we have Jesus in our heart."

* Maybe March-ish:
Lulu..."Mommy, I need to tell you something. (a line she uses to draw me in to procrastinate from napping) When daddy gets home we gonna eat some oatmeal."

* March 11:
Lulu..."We found Orangeblossom (a small figurine we had lost from Strawberry Shortcake). Mommy, Jesus always takes care of us."

* March 2:
Knox rolled over for the 1st time.

* March 7:
Knox ate cereal for the 1st time.

* The Girls are OBSESSED with Sofia the 1st. It's a new princess on Disney Junior. She is precious and Disney is genius because my girls are way to little for movies or even the villians from the movies of all the princesses so Sofia each episode (or some of them) has a princess appear to help her. It's so smart. We have only deleted a few that we a bit too focused on the bad sorcerer but otherwise it's so cute. Songs, sweet lessons and great adventures and imagination.  (Currently in 1 week we leave for Disney and I can't wait for the girls to see Sofia...it might blow their minds!)

* Cloth Diapers:
I love them. If anyone says it's not more work, they are lying but I don't mind as it's saving tons of money. Knox has been a great pooper and his poop is really really easy to clean out (as of September 2013 this has changed a bit now). He has never had diaper rash and at night he does wear a normal diaper at night as the cloth ones aren't great for that long as the front isn't totally snug against his body. All in all we love them!

* Spit up:
Knox spits up all the time...this was his phase for a while. I had to have burp clothes or just towels ready for him. Our carpet probably needs to be replaced with as much spit up as he had. It was always normal and didn't bother him in the slightest...

* Playdates:
We love our Monday morning playdates at FBC. The Houstons, Dolloffs and us head each week and Callie and I always come to Starbucks. That time ended up being so dear to me. Bennett and Belle and Lulu are all great friends and Jed and Belle are great friends too. With Lulu and Belle their friends really are going to be blurred together which I love. We have been playing with the Dolloffs a lot this spring as they have a plot of land beside their house that kamp owns and is flat with a driveway. It's perfect. So we go over a lot and Lulu and Belle love the Dolloff kids! Definite season of life friends! We are just smack in the same life stage, schedule, etc. Lulu one day even got in the car and said, "Mommy I want to marry Mack." Random...

* Wildfire Event:
Shay got to go with Joe to Wildfire. This huge men's event that Joe was the main speaker for out in Virginia. "Timmy Tebow" was there and "the duck dynasty guys" and Joe just really wanted Shay to come. Shay loved it and although he didn't get close he saw all those folks from a distance.

Our small group met for the last time. Farleys are moving and the others all go to FBC and have a small group there. So we are small-groupless...
