The Neighborhood Nativity...

I love our attempt at a family picture...shay is in the shadows. 

What a precious TRADITION, well, hopefully a tradition. We loved being a part of the neighborhood nativity play. I guess years ago Kris Cooper used to be the director of this little play when his big kids were little kids so this year some new moms took on the banner and decided to start it again. We were so excited to be a part of it.

Lulu you got to be a sheep. Mom got crafty with cotton balls and taped on some ears and then Lulu became a sheep. She and Dru (who are about 6 months apart) were both sheep for the nativity. It was so cute. Dru had a box of Cheez-Its and Lulu had her snack cup and they were happy little sheep with their snacks. At one point Dru was putting her Cheez-Its in the manger where the baby Jesus was. It was hysterical! Lulu lost it at one point as she realized she had these cotton balls on her shirt and to her those were "ewwies."

The narrators were great and the older kiddos had the bigger parts and they did awesome. It was so special because in that 10 minute play it was such a deep reminder of truly the meaning of Christmas.
