April...

April...I am starting to become a once a month blogger. Around this season I am actually thankful for even just once a month. We are in full swing of camp being right around the corner. Shay actually is already out at K2 and I am staying home for a bit longer. I was telling my boss today...I love point a and i love point b but I hate the distance between point a and point b. Doest that make sense? If not, I'll explain it when we are all reading through this year book with our kiddos.

April has been great. I am trying to stop and think back. We had a garage sale, Easter, Aunt Shanny visited, Shay's Granny & Pa came through Branson, Belle rolled over (I don't think she had done that last month), Lulu played with little baby chicks, Shay did his 2nd Half Ironman (it turned into a duathlon due to weather) and we had something every weekend of this month.

Here are the memories this momma wants to remember:
* Belle you are 5 months old. Lulu you are 17 months old. I must admit I will be ready to be in years...I am not a fan (mostly because I am awful at keeping up with months) of the whole month thing.
* Shay ran in New Orleans with my dad and brother for a Half Ironman. The weather was a bit crazy wind wise so the swim was cancelled. It was a great weekend. We cheered on daddy from home and missed him lots but was glad he got to do this. I think Shay is doing the Branson Half Ironman again...let the training begin.
* We had a student/camper weekend, our leadership team weekend, Shay's ironman, Easter and a garage sale. Goodness...busy!
* We had a deep spring cleaning. We sold it all. We put price tags on everything. I tagged our garage sale on all the direction signs as the "awesome garage sale." It paid off...literally! I'll be storing that money for the robbins' nest interior design. Thanks Honey!
* Papa (Shay's dad) had a BIRTHDAY! Happy Birthday to the best papa (on behalf of Shay) and the best papa-in-law (on behalf of me)!
* I made 12 fabric headbands that I wear everyday in the summer. They are super cute and during the summer when wearing tshirts and shorts everyday...a cute little headband just makes me feel like a girlie girl!
* Lulu is somewhat "talking." It's amazing I used to be amazed when moms knew what in the world their kids were saying. I get it now. Lulu says (again in her own little way)...bath, dadda, momma, baby, woah, uh-oh (that may have been march).
* Belle is rollin'. She's a mover. She loves to arch her back sometimes in the bumbo. If that play tray wasn't attached she would be outta there.
* Belle is laughing and becoming so very expressive.
* Lulu is really loving towards Belle. We really think they just love each other. They don't get mad at each other being held. Belle lights up when Lulu is close and Lulu takes her toys and wipes her face.
* Typing of wiping her face...Belle, you are still a yacker. You are just a happy spitter upper. It is amazing how much spit up you can have. A.MAY.ZING.
