Medlin/Robbins Annual Beach Trip...

Oh be prepared for pictures...lots of pictures! We had such a great time on vacation. My parents are starting a tradition to always go to the beach for mom's spring break week. Whichever of the kids can get there it's a free vaca! Umm...yes, please! The girls did awesome on the drive down and we had such a great time. The boys were training for the Louisiana Half Ironman so they would head to do that while the girls napped. Then we would all head out to the beach or pool or wherever. I loved the freedom we all had. Belle was a bit "frightened" by the amount of sun brightness but Lulu was LOVING the sand. She crawled in it, play with it, and ate large amounts of it. We loved the condo we stayed at because it also had an indoor pool and the girls LOVED this as it was not cold and the sun was not bright. It was the perfect condo for us! We felt so blessed to be with Nana, Papa D, Aunt Pat and Uncle Michael. It was just the best! We rested, played games, ate so good, and watched March Madness. Nana was a bit sick and out of it with some tooth pain (jaw stuff) but was still so fun to be with especially after the pain killers. Aunt Pat spoiled us with her cooking and Papa D brought fried pies from Cabot that were A.MAZ.ING. Lulu loved her some corn...even in her toes. Michael got woken up every day very early by...everyone. All in all this trip (the first of many) was perfect!

The pictures will tell the rest of the story...

love love love these two.
she loved sand...we buried her feet here.
lulu...sorry but i had to put this in here. you were SNOT.TEY. With capital letters! So we caught this snot bubble!
this was lulu after sunscreen attacked her head.
uncle michael and lulu. he's the best big brother!
this outdoor pool was great too as it had this little side pool to it. lulu loved splashing.
a great nana plays and get sand and bubbles all over her to be with her granddaughter.
this was the shot from each morning. everyone sat out on the huge porch.
belle had her first real laugh on the trip with papa d. it was priceless. i have video of it.
belle's face is classic...uncle michael looks pretty natural holding this little girl!
 mom and her girls.
we LOVED this eating place called LuLu's! we got our lulu a shirt and had the best time eating and playing. this will a tradition within the tradition.
the foot on the table...cute. umm...yes!
nana and a very asleep belle. oh these moments are the ones i want engraved on my heart.
this is lulu's shirt from LuLu's. it's already gotten stained now that we are home cuz she plays hard in it.
 casper...no, no, it's just belle.
mom and loodle and a random bottle of gold bond powder...no idea why she has it or why it's in this picture.
 lulu patting belle's back.
 horsey time.
she is a part of a jungle tribe. sunscreen.
 she's just kickin' it.
they both loved it when they both sat in the floatie.
 corn-on-the-toe. yes, please.
we are learning sign language. "more," "please," and working on "thank you."
let's go back to vaca,
the robbins' nest
