Goodness, it is definitely time for an update. Shay and I are about to head to bed but I wanted to get a small post up before our night is ended with a long night of sleep. K2 is going great. We can't believe there is only 2.5 weeks left. The summer, I think I have typed this before, is just flying by! The past few weeks have been filled with great kamp moments but also lots of family!
1st...My brother and his wife and kids came to Branson for vacation. They stayed at our home and also got to come out to K2, which was a first. Alana Grace (their little girl) was precious with Lulu. She cupped her little face and was just so gentle and loving! It melted our hearts! We were so excited to see them and they got to see K2 and all that we get to do!
2nd...my mom and dad came to visit. They come once a month but this time was so rich with them as it was Shay's birthday too. We played at the pool, cooked, hung out, took naps, and just had a blast!
3rd...SHAY'S 29TH BIRTHDAY! It was a great day! We actually celebrated a few days early but we cooked out at Big Cedar and just had a blast with family and friends! Shay got his bike fixed, triathlete bars for his bike, books, and some comfy shirts! It was a great day! He just loved being with his family! (Shanny, we missed you!).
