Well, as some of you know Lulu's room has well been under creative anxiety...meaning I just didn't love it before so I totally decided to change it completely! Shay for sure looked at me like I was crazy, laughed, and said OK. Wooohooo! It is coming along in stages. I still have so much to do...1. make big pillows for floor play (it's the #1 thing to have in a nursery I read on some kid blog...good tip I thought) / 2. a graphic/yellow circle preferably rug / 3. new light fixture/chandelier / 4. make white ruffle curtains / 5. mobile over her crib made of fun paper flowers I found on etsy.com / 6. changing pad cover / 7. light bulbs...oh, this list is making me laugh and cry...Lulu, I promise you will have a room someday. By the time you know how to actually "play" you WILL have a room.
Anyways, so enjoy the pictures. I totally stole this stripe wall from this awesome blog I love...I actually can't remember the site name right now but it's this mom that loves Jesus, has 4 kiddos, and is just awesome (is it weird I don't know her yet type like we are BFF...weird ashley, weird). Anyways, Kelly (PTL for the sis-in-law) came over and helped with the painting and was a huge help! I just LOVE how it turned out.
