Sweet Lulu,Well, yesterday you had your first round of Christmas for 2009. You loved it...well, actually you slept through 1/3 of it, nursed through the other 1/3, cried in your basket through 1/6 and was held for the other 1/6. All in all it was a great day! Poppa shared before we started all the presents and food of how the glory of God had truly been seen in each of our lives over the past year. It was so neat, Lulu, to know that your legacy from both your mom and dad's parents is one centered on Jesus! We had Christmas with your Uncle Nick & Aunt Kelly and their boys, Aunt Shanny, Uncle Blake, Grammy & Poppa! It was a full day! You are having to learn how to go to sleep without the arms of mom and dad and so you had to stay in Shanny's room and cry for a little while but it put you right to sleep after "some" time passing of crying. You are already growing so much and changing with each day. Your dad thinks you are really strong as last night you had a kung-fu grip on his fingers. We love you so much and you truly are the best Christmas gift we could have ever imagined. We want you to always know that during Christmas that Jesus is the true reason for all the excitement. We can't wait to tell you more...ya know, once you can understand us!
Merry Christmas everyone! Round #2 Christmas starts on the road trip to Illinois to see Shay's extended family! Lulu's first road trip!

My friend Rachel Sparks made Lulu the cutest baby blanket and Aunt Shanny loved it so much that her mom got Rachel to make her one (bigger size obviously). Shanny loved it! Thanks Rachel!
