Well we have a break from K2 today and boy was it needed. Shay & I both slept till 11:35 this morning, or should I say early afternoon. It was great and I have been told to soak up these moments of sleeping in as much as I can now. We are 3 days into Term 1 and Shay and I are loving it (Aunt Marcie: we stole your line, "Jake is lovin' it"). With the kampers being there it is such a rejuvenation for both of us. Shay spoke last night at K-Life and did an AMAZING job. He spoke on Heaven and how we are to live in light of eternity. It was such a good reminder of the hope we have as we live knowing that this earth is not our home. We left after his talk and headed to our sweet friends' condo to rest and rejuvenate.
The baby and I are continuing to do well. Even as I type that I laugh because I still am in the "no-way-is-there-a-baby-in-there" mode. But the baby bump is growing each day, or so it feels that way. Shay and I are getting more and more excited to find out the sex of the baby on July 1st. It will be such an exciting moment to know what we are having and to be able to begin really brainstorming names, praying for certain qualities in the little guy or girl, and not have to say he/she or it anymore.
Shay is presently watching "The Last of the Mohicans" as I blog...but wanted to pass on his message for you all. When I asked him if wanted to say anything he said, "If you get sad, stop being sad and be awesome instead." Only my husband...random! :)
Love you all! Thanks for your prayers...
