Baby Robbins is 18 Weeks...

Hey Family and Friends,
Goodness, Shay and I were laughing because I literally said as I started typing this..."Am I 18 weeks? Is that right?" Well, I'm like 90% sure that's right. We are literally just beside ourselves excited for Wednesday, July 1st at 3:10 pm. I have talked to some friends and they suggest drinking orange juice or a little coke before the appointment to get the baby moving so we can avoid a modest little guy or girl! We will try and post on here just as fast as we can!

On the other front I think the reason I forget which week I'm on is because K2 summer 2009 has been a crazy one...great, but crazy. For some more information you can check out www.insidekanakuk.com. I am a little hesitant to type too much on here but just know that I am great and I have never been more proud to work for Kanakuk Kamps. Our medical team and high up folks have just been incredible!!! We would love prayers for K2 and just protection from any yucky germs floating through our kamp.

Shay and I are doing great! Each night we sleep very well with long days but we at least 2-3 times a day simply stand back and say, "We are so blessed." We have been studying 2 Thessalonians and have once again been reminded in any of circumstances, good or bad, easy or suffering, that I pray the Robbins' family claims that God is still good.

Again I am updating almost daily at www.kanakukashley.com with just what a day at K2 looks like! (I for sure know my sister-in-law checks everyday! Love you Pauline!) We miss you tons and thanks for prayers for our little one that continues to grow. The belly in my small tshirts is definitely visible but also that awkward stage :)

Love you all,
Shay & Ashley & Baby Robbins

Shay and I have been saving for about 8-9 months to buy a new camera since a new stage of pictures and life are coming soon! I got a Nikon D60 with lots of lenses, bags, and tripods. I have no clue to how to use most of the gadgets or buttons on the camera but hopefully I'll learn fast after kamp is done on August 12.

I think we both look a little goofy in this picture (or maybe just me). We slept in till 11 this morning and then this picture was after I took a 2.5 hour nap. Baby and momma were tired! Shay all the while was watching ESPN and a movie on the Ark of the Covenant (Thanks Kolters).
