Hello friends and family, We are in Alexandria, LA tonight and have been with just the sweetest family tonight! We have been so blessed and encouraged by this week of trail. Shay had a really neat (who says neat anymore) conversation with a man tonight. I think we might have a new group of innercity kiddos at KAA (Kids Across America) next summer from Alexandria, LA. So neat (again, I keep saying this word). Anyways, tonight I was once again reminded of how much we just LOVE what we do. That doesn't come around very often and so once again we feel overwhelmingly blessed. Shay, as I type, is sitting in a massage chair resting since tonight after the show got to go shooting with a kamp kid and shot a AR-15 and an AK-47. I don't know if I typed those right but hopefully all you huntin' folks know what they are! He had a blast! We head to Baton Rouge tomorrow and Shay and I (with another kamp family) are going to go on a swamp boat tour...I have married an adventure man! I love that!!!! We'll be home on Friday and then back on the road on Monday for 1 more week of traveling. We love our gypsy lifestyle!
