My Mom was on Today Show...sort of...

Okay, my mom and dad are in NYC with some friends (the friends are being their tour guides b/c they both used to live there...praise the Lord for them!). My mom called yesterday and they had gone 80 floors up on the Empire State Building and were headed to Wicked on Broadway. Today they woke up and headed down to Today's headquarters and got to see Faith Hill.

I am so proud of my dad for surprising my mom with this gift. My mom sounded 25 on the phone last night and was having the time of her life! She keeps saying, "I can't believe I get to see all this." The Medlin's always used to get up on Thanksgiving day to watch the Macy's Day Parade and my mom always talked about how much she wanted to go someday. So finally...dad got the hint and they will be there for it on Thursday morning. Don't worry Mom, Michael and I will be watching and I'm sure Jason and Pauline, and kiddos, will watch too!

You can see my mom in the time frame of 3:48--3:53. You will see her head and arm waving behind a gentleman in a black jacket and blue baseball hat, who is rather tall. You can tell mom is straining to be seen! It was so fun to see her!
